Develop Team Process in PMBOK 6

It is a project management process in which the competencies of assigned team members are improved in the process of obtaining resources, intra-team communication is increased and conflicts are managed when they occur, and factors surrounding the team, in general, are improved.

In PMBOK 7, there are 8 performance domains instead of knowledge areas, and these issues about developing a team are considered as a part of the team performance domain. Also, the principle of creating a collaborative team environment is directly related to this process.

Employees who work in a more motivated way, have received the necessary training, are competent, and work with a sense of unity, have a huge impact on the success of the project. A good project resource management should motivate team members throughout the project, minimize layoffs, make the team work like a lubricated machine, and help track opportunities in this regard.

Organizing trainings so that the knowledge level and competencies of the project team can be developed in accordance with the project needs, rewarding successful team members by appreciating high performance is considered as part of the project team development process.

Develop team process is evaluated within the scope of the executing process group and resource management knowledge area. It is done throughout the project's lifecycle.

Team performance assessments and change requests are formed after implementation of the process as outputs.
